Exterior

The Basilica of St. Josaphat was constructed using materials salvaged from the U.S. Post Office and Custom House in Chicago. These materials from the "Chicago Public Building" were brought to Milwaukee by 500 railway flatcars. Construction of the Basilica was completed in 1901.
