Encounter
The Christian life is essentially marked by an encounter with Jesus Christ, who calls us to follow him.
— Pope Benedict XVI, Verbum Domini

Young Adult Ministry

The Basilica of St. Josaphat is blessed with a strong presence of young adults. This ministry exists to provide opportunities for us to pray, learn, volunteer, socialize and grow together. Open to all who are in their 20s and 30s, we will renew our encounter with Christ through ministries for those who are single, engaged and married in an effort to come together and strengthen the Body of Christ in the Basilica community.

Arise

All are invited to Milwaukee's newest Catholic prayer event, ARISE! Come be a part of an experience that Milwaukee has never seen before! Arise is the opportunity for Catholics of all traditions, ages, and backgrounds to come together around the traditional rite of Eucharistic Adoration as it is blended with the contemporary charism of praise and worship music. 10+ priests will be available to hear Confessions.

Arise will happen four times each year at different parishes around the city. This is a great opportunity for Milwaukee to rejuvenate its spirit, and we pray that you will take part.

"God will arise" — Psalms 68:2.

For more information see AriseMilwaukee.org.

If you would like to volunteer, contact Talia Fehrenbach.

Saturday, February 18th from 7-9pm at St. Thomas More High School.

Childcare Team

At the Basilica we value our families. We want to provide ministries that include them, but we know that it is important for parents to get some time apart from their kids in order to participate. If you are interested in helping to provide childcare during ministries please contact Talia to join the team. You will get a chance to spend 1 or 2 hours with kids in a childcare room right here at the Basilica. Thank you in advance for your gift of time!
