Other Fundraising Opportunities

The Basilica depends upon the kindness and generosity of people who share a vision for ministry and service within the Church. As part of the Franciscan mission, the friars and the people of the Basilica, respond to a wide variety of needs and circumstances. If you are considering a contribution to the Basilica as a part of your charitable giving, or in your will, we offer these suggestions.

Basilica Memorial Fund

This fund is composed of contributions made specifically for the Basilica church. Monies contained in this fund are used exclusively for the purchase, upkeep, and improvement of the altars, sanctuary furnishings, and sacred vestry.

Basilica Education Endowment

This fund specifically guarantees the future of Catholic education at our parish school. Interest accrued from the principle of this irrevocable trust fund is used exclusively to offer financial support for the academic programs of the parish school.

Basilica Organ Restoration Fund

This fund is composed of contributions made exclusively for the muscial concerns of the Basilica, among which but not limited to, are the operation, repair, and general upkeep of the grand pipe organ.

Franciscan Ministry and Development Fund

Contributions to this fund specifically benefit the spiritual, corporal, and educational works of the Conventual Franciscans of St. Bonaventure (Midwest, USA) Province.
